God gives the horse strength and clothes his neck with thunder (Job 39:19)
yet, He never meant for that power to be without purpose.
Without the breaking of the will, a horse is just wildness and pride;
He may look beautiful and his power stunning,
but a life running with the wind,
trampling anything in his way,
fearing the unknown,
and dying without any true purpose in life has little value.
Only after submitting to the will of the cowboy,
can a once-wild horse have purpose and meaning-
and sometimes, even a name!
Be ye not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding:
whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle,
lest they come near unto thee. Psalm 32:9
whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle,
lest they come near unto thee. Psalm 32:9
Jesus has a passion to give you meaning in life-
a way to live vibrantly in His power
and with purpose!
Submitting to the will of the Father is not prison.
Following His commands are not tedious.
There is no reason to pull at 'the bit'...
His ways are love.
Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling,
not according to our works,
but according to his own purpose and grace,
which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began.
2 Timothy 1:9
