I was privileged to shadow this little guy recently, seeking to capture a day in his first year.
He was a vivid picture of my relationship with my Heavenly Father.

He was not always steady on his feet,
but his watchful mother 'saved' him
from many frightful and harmful casualties.
He showed little fear.

He was in tune to his little world and engaged in the smallest of details.
He laughed with others,
explored the new things along his path,
and welcomed the love of his parents.

His trust was a tender reminder that my Heavenly Father knows
that I am not always steady on my pilgrim journey;
that I need protection as I seek to follow Him;
and that I have no need to fear.

Lord, strengthen my love for You
to be child-like.
You are always good!
Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child
shall in no wise enter therein.
Luke 18:17

  1. What a precious little boy! I appreciate the analogy very much too. I stumble around in my spiritual walk and definitely need my Father's loving and steadying hand of protection and guidance.

  2. Hey Sharon,
    What a lovely shots of this little guy. So cute!!
    Well done how you've photographed him.

    Kind regards,

  3. Darling shots! His parents must have been very pleased. I love the insights you've drawn. God is, indeed, very good.
