High above me in the autumn trees, little colored leaves stretch out a cover over the browning earth.
And in the fallen leaves below,
snow-white mushrooms poke bald heads out of their blankets to say farewell before the earth says good-night and winter moves in.
It is the little things for which I am thankful; For in them is a big reminder of the Almighty God
-- and the promise of Spring!
Great and marvelous are thy works,
Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways
