It was just a wet and soggy day.
The goats weren't sure they wanted to come out and play.
I wanted to be out exploring the treasures in the rain
but I had to opt for exploring through my camera lens
from my vantage point on the dry porch.
The hens ventured out and then decided to huddle,
wet and miserable next to their coop
instead of going back inside.
Silly girls.
As the day wore on and more drops fell to the earth,
from the porch I could see those who couldn't wait for the sun to appear...
Might as well take a shower
and grab a bite to eat.
Who says you have to be a duck to enjoy this day!
Who does great things, and unsearchable,
Marvelous things without number.
He gives rain on the earth,
And sends waters on the fields.
Job 5:9–10
I really like these photos Sharon! You really conveyed the the "moodiness" of the rain, without it seeming gloomy. The one with the bird sitting on the field fencing is my favorite. All the drops of water hanging off the fence is really neat
